Meeting with Bradley

In addition to our meeting with Minister Smitherman, we also met with Jim Bradley, Minister of Transportation.
We discussed the need to integrate bicycle and pedestrian linkages across HWY 6 into the design of the overpasses and interchanges being considered through the Environmental Assessment and that these linkages should be funded by MTO as part of the project.  The good news is [...]

Infrastructure Money for Municipalities Announced

Premier Dalton McQuinty announced during his speech today at the annual meeting of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario a one time transfer of $1.1 billiion to municipalities for capital projects.  Guelph will be receiving just under $11 million.
