Sometimes efficiencies come from the cross-training staff to take on new roles – like the efficiences found in By-law enforcement that have allowed us to move to 24 hour service, 7 days a week. Sometimes they come from changes in practice - like the anti-idling program in Fleet Services that will help reduce the impact of rising fuel costs.
