President, Carrie Rutter, of the Rotary Club of Guelph-Trillium introduces the Lieutenant Govenor of Ontario, the Honourable David C. Onley. His Honour spoke to an audience of over 100 Rotarians about the enormous benefits of promoting accessibility in Ontario. The event was organized to raise funds for Rotary’s campaign to eradicate polio.

Intercalary Days (thru March 1) (Baha’i) – There are four or five days inserted into the calendar called Ayyam-i-ha adjusting the Baha’i year to the solar cycle. This preceeds a month of fasting from March 2-20. Gifts are exchanged, parties and public meetings are held to share the faith.

Tonight, Council received an update on the Water Conservation and Efficiency Strategy. The final report will come to Council in April for approval.
