Salvation Army and Chamber of Commerce join forces

The Salvation Army and the Chamber of Commerce hosted a Career Connection Community breakfast this morning for people who are in job transition as a result of the recession.

The morning was a perfect mix of heartfelt stories of hope and opportunity along with practical resources to help individuals find employment.

Numerous agencies that offer assistance and training during job transition were on hand.

The Chamber introduced their Career Tool Box – resources for career transition, employment seeking and role changing. Listed in the Career Tool Box are the following agencies:
