A couple of highlights from the week:
- I spoke to over 100 people in Toronto at the Ontario Electricity Association Breakfast Speakers Series about the Community Energy Plan – still lots of enthusiasm outside of Guelph for the work we are doing
- Council’s Audit Committe met this week
- I was introduced to the new Pastors of New Life Christian Reformed Church, Tom and Leslie van Milligen
- The Poverty Elimination Taskforce released their Community Plan
- The Board of Guelph Junction Railway met – Guelph’s very own railway
- The City Treasurer and I spoke in Toronto about the challenges of financing Places to Grow
- Went without breakfast on Friday as part of Live Free Day
