    Hi Karen,

As a relatively new member of the Guelph community, I’d like to be apprised of the social events like this one happening in my city. Where is the best place for me to get that information? I check in on the Snap Guelph events page now and again, but is there a better way to keep a finger on the pulse of Guelph’s social schedule?

    Thank you,

There are several places to check. Snap Guelph is one of them. Rogers Cable 20 announces community events. Both local papers have community event calendars. CJOY and Magic FM also promote local events. The City has a community event calendar. Tourism Guelph has a listing of events. The Loop has music, culture and entertainment events. I am sure I have missed others. I encourage others to provide suggestions of where to look.

Thank you for this info – has exactly what I’m looking for. My wife and I are in our 30s, we don’t spend a lot of time watching the local cable channel or rocking out to “good time oldies”. I know I’ve seen an event calendar in the Mercury, but I’m never quite sure when and where it shows up.

Thank you again, I hope you and your office folk get to enjoy some of the amazing weather on the way to us this week!
