2010 Best Places to Live

The City of Guelph has once again been named as one of the country’s “Best Places to Live.”

Money Sense magazine recognized the City based on data compiled from 179 Canadian cities and towns with populations over 10,000 people. They rated cities based on climate, prosperity, access to healthcare, home affordability, crime rates and lifestyle with subcategories in each area.

In addition to being recognized in this category, we have also been recognized in the past as “the safest city”; “most caring community”; “one of the smartest cities”; “best old house neighbourhoods”; and the “most romantic city in Ontario”.
