Blessed with local talent

I attended the annual performance of Handel’s Messiah by the Guelph Chamber Choir at the River Run last night.

This is an important tradition for many in our community. I spoke with Nicolas who first sang in a performance of the Messiah at the age of 10 in England.  He told me he has sung in the performance around 50 to 60 times.   Patrick has been attending a performance of the Messiah each year for as long as he can remember regardless of where he has lived.

We are very fortunate in Guelph to have such wonderful talent to deliver such a command performance in our own community and the commitment of many volunteers to make it possible.
