Methane-Powered Truck big hit

September 16, 2011

Community Energy Planning

The wastewater – methane truck has been a big hit at the Canadian Farm Show. OMAFRA has done an excellent job of promoting the truck and the City. Total attendance at the show has exceeded 45,000.

Interesting fact – one cow could generate enough methane to drive over 6,000 km per year.

Perhaps a key CEI transportation strategy would be to expand our backyard chicken by-law to allow for cows! (just kidding)
