Daffodil Pin – Recognizing cancer survivors and honour those lost to cancer

April 3, 2013

Blog, Making a Difference

I received a daffodil pin today from Cassandra Lambley a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society, Wellington County Unit to show my support for people living with cancer.

During Daffodil Month, and especially on Daffodil Day (April 27), the Canadian Cancer Society is asking Canadians to join the fight against cancer by making a donation to support its work throughout Canada and to proudlywear a daffodil pin as a symbol of support for people living with cancer.
