So said Guelph Public Library CEO Kitty Pope about 2012 Mayor’s Award winner, library volunteer Virginia Gillham, adding, “She is truly an inspiration and role model, and she is one of the reasons that Guelph is such a great community to live in.” The Library Board Chair added, “We are truly indebted to Virginia for her boundless energy, her willingness to stand up and be heard, and her commitment to helping the public library serve the people of Guelph.”
