As part of Guelph’s open government initiative, we are experimenting with new ways to bring government and community together to develop shared solutions.
What might that look like? Health Jam 2014 is a perfect example.
This is a free, two-day workshop to generate real solutions that break down barriers to healthy living in our community. It’s about opening up “the way things have always been done” and finding new ways for government, service providers, businesses and citizens to work together. It supports the goals of Guelph Wellbeing and takes a similar approach of breaking down silos and shaking things up.
