Lockout averted

July 14, 2014

Blog

I am very grateful that the City and Amalgamated Transit Union negotiating teams worked throughout the day on Sunday to reach a tentative agreement, averting a lockout of transit employees. Buses are running today as usual. Excellent news for our riders and for transit employees and their families. You can read the press release here.

If you take a bus today, please thank your driver for the service he or she provides to our community.
